Oil pan bolts on VAIW

I had to take the oil pan off of my VAIW ... it had a small hole in it .. anyway I got it fixed and put back on and was wondering ....what is the torque lbs on the bolts .. ??

Also .. is there a trick to remove the starter ?? I fiddle with it for a half hour .. and I can't get the spring past the fly wheel ...

Oil pan bolts torque to 15 ft lbs. Never have had much trouble with the starter not coming out. Sometimes have had to turn the shaft to get the bolts that hold the spring to clear the flywheel. Lee
