I finally got around to service the Case 530CK tractor backhoe with a diesel I bought last November. Rebuilt three hydraulic cylinders and a couple of new hoses, so today I pressure washed it, changed the motor oil and filter, cleaned the oil bath air-cleaner and the final fuel filter. Before I took the filter off, I noticed on the filter it had arrows that said to put the arrows toward the filter casting, but the arrows were pointing the wrong direction. Yup, filter was installed wrong, so I would imagine that the filter wasn't doing anything. Good thing for primary filter.
