Pic posting...why sideways posts ?

I am going to post a pic , which in my saved file is "right side up", C on top.. I post a preview on here and it is sideways. So here it goes. Bet it is sideways...... How do I make it correct, up and down?

Don. Assuming you use a PC this is whats up:

Your phone/camera is taking the picture and storing the data as "sideways" but it is shown as right side up.

1. Open the photo in Windows Photo Viewer on your computer.
2. Select to rotate the picture clockwise or counterclockwise one turn.
3. Either move on to the next picture or save the current one as it is (now rotated) and close out of the picture.
4. Re-open the picture or move back from the previous one.
5. Rotate the picture back and save it/ move to the next slide.

This is not the easiest thing to describe!
In short you are just trying to jar the computers memory and make it realize that the picture really needs to show up right side up.

I just saved your photo and while it was sideways on the forum it saved it to my computer right side up. So I did what I mentioned and its now right side up.

When I take a photo with my phone , I give the phone a half turn , so I hold the phone sideways . Later when I post the picture on YT from my phone , it comes out right side up When viewed from my computer.Save me some steps. . Bruce
