I was bored so i got the 830 and 930 out tonight and let them run for a while, just put 10x16 fronts on the 830 so it sits a bit more level with the 20.8's, had to cut lugs out of old rims and weld in new blank rims for the wider tire. I think I posted a pic before but here is the dash I made for the 830, the picture of the painted dash has a few after market gauges, but it now has all new nos case gauges, except for the aftermarket pyrometer.

My 7.50x16 fronts on my 63 831C will rub on the flat of the bolster where the wishbone of a wide front would bolt. I can't imagine that you can turn that thing far off center with those wheels and tires. Doesn't look to practical to me. I like big tires but they need to be functional.

I wouldn't have went to all of the work of buying wider rims, cutting lugs from old rims and re welding into the new rims and changing tires without picking up a tape measure first. Had I not done a bit of grinding on the casting they would not clear, this tractor is used for pulling and will not have a wide front put back on so I'm not worried about grinding out the flat spot where the wide front bolts to. If I ever did reinstall a wide front I will replace the casting.
