1070 Heads on 970 Engine

Good day - have a bubbling issue from the rad cap myself... Got a rebuilt 451 with broken crankshaft. Can I install the 451 engine heads/injectors onto the 970 block with no issues?
Recommendations from anyone if I go this route to correct bubbling in coolant (I suspect cracked head - no coolant in oil)?
It would be nice to drop my crank into the 451 but just don't have the time nor do I want to split (powershift and trans working fine - don't want to go there...) Thank you for any advice! Brian Case farm kid

The heads will bolt right on,BUT the valves will hit the cylinder sleeves and wont work. If you want to know which head is leaking, take an old water manifold and cut it up so you can bolt a section on each head, then fill the block and heads as full of water as you can remove the fan belt then start the engine and see which head is showing bubbles on the water manifold part

Hey, Awesome. Need to isolate the head and that would do it. Great.
Appreciate the knowledge on the heads as well. They are rebuilt as was the whole engine in the 1070 (the engine had less then 50 hours when crank snapped). Am converting my 970 to heavy duty cool and needed steering parts and some of the tin work so the purchase of the front end will serve me well.
Have a great day! Brian Case farm kid
