610 Crawler progress

Stripped some paint today.

This hood was bent in half and twisted up pretty good. It still need more metal work but it will come out nice.

I chemical striped these parts. Then used a wire wheel on a drill to get into the nooks and crannies. I used Aircraft paint stripper. Nasty stuff! Very strong ammonia door. You need a respirator mask to use it and don't get any on your skin! I have no idea how much lead might be in this paint so I choose to chemical strip it as opposed to getting it airborne with a sander.
