Nice looking DC. I also have my Grandfathers 51 DC that he purchased new. Glad to see you are keeping it going an looking good

Nic, you really do have a family treasure there, and such a fine piece. I would get the build card on the "DC" and try to do some research so this piece of family history can be past on down the family. Great post Nic. Keep us posted with pictures too.

Hello Ande I have actually got the build card for my grandfathers Dc. Thank you for the advice. The Dc was my grandfathers big tractor for roughly thirteen years. Thank you

Mr. Rudolph the Dc was bought from a Case dealer in Knoxville, Tn. The man that owned the dealership was named Blackburn. I think the Case dealership was called Knoxville Supply. I think you may already have this dealership? Thank you for the compliments.

Thanks for the owner's name, I'll add that to the list. The business address (according to a 1954 Case calendar) was 126-128 S. Morgan St. I wonder what it looks like now. Don

Great looking tractor. U said it was his big tractor. Did he have another also? What breed is the plow, guessing JD.
I have MY granddads 34 CC Case, bought used around 40/41. Did they make cards for it also that can be had? He, to anybodys knowledge never drove it, he bought it cause my dad agreed to keep farming with him IF he bought a tractor. he was always a dyed in the wool horse man. But, I like to think that he may have drivin it when nobody was around, and that my hands are where he and my dads hands were once. not to mention butt lol

It's great to see a family tractor stay in the family and be cared for. It's hard to imagine how important the purchase of this new DC was to your grandfather.I have several DC's and am really fond of them. Thanks for the pics/story, Below is a before and after pic of my first Case tractor. i used to see this tractor everyday while riding the school bus sitting in a shed Nick

Looks like you or someone else changed it to a standard-front wheel configuration. Probably a little more involved than just the front axle,
maybe steering box too?
