At those prices give me one sleeve ring and piston set for the S series and the same for the D series. lol Fun to find these old prices. Occasionally run into old grocery store ads. Crazy the price difference then and now. gobble

Wow, Sleeves and piston sets for 50 bucks. Oil at $1.90, today it is about 10 times that and a set of those S+P's would be also. Thanks for posting, Rod.

I have to slap myself and compare income at that era too. Looking back on my milk ck stubs from late 60's I say "Oh, that's why I didn't buy that $4,000.00 430 diesel I drove around the dealers lot and drooled over"! LOL
