Hand Clutch Pivot

I am currently restoring a Case SC. The hand clutch lever is really sloppy. It doesn't look like it was ever greased. What is a good way to fix that? I recently did a B John Deere and you could buy a
replacement pin and then just bore out the handle hole. That worked really well. The SC however has a special bolt that is one of the bolts that holds the axle housing on. I thought about getting the next
size shaft, cut off the worn out part, and weld the new shaft on. Then bore out the lever bore. Anyone have some better solutions?

Stick the pin in a lathe and true it up then bore the handle true and make a bushing for it. Just did one takes about an hour. Good luck.
