Welcome to this site David. You will find a very helpful bunch of guys on here. It is a learning experence just to read all the comments and etc.
I have a ? for you, does your VAC have the " high" steering rod , or does it have the one that goes partly under the grille ? Our VAC has the ' high" one , I do not see many of that style.
Keep in touch on here. clint

Welcome to the site. You will come to find out it has the most helpful members of probably any tractor forum. At least that is my experience. I too have a VAC, a 1950, plus a few others. Have a safe haul. gobble

David, were glad to have you here, lots of good advise, and very respectful and friendly. Just like a J.I.Case dealer!
Warm Welcome!
Dan

Welcome. I'm kinda new too. These guys (Case forum)are the best. Picture uploading can be a bit trying. I use the classic view, and to upload in that view click
"Upload Photo", then "Choose File" and browse to where the file is located, select the file, then click "Upload". You should see a thumbnail of the photo in the
"Photo Gallery Upload" box. Then (if it is the right picture), click "Continue". This is the step I kept missing....clicking "Continue". Also, there is a file size
limitation, I think the maximum file size is stated below. You may have to compress your photos, or they won't post. There is a test forum you can practice on too.
You're not an English guitarist, are you? Nevermind,, he spells his last name with a "U" after the "O"...
Good Luck!

Dave, I live here in Ohio close to the Erie's west end. I have a brother near Spartanburg S.C. I have my dad's Vac 1950. So I was wondering were are you starting from and ending. Their is a wealth of people here to help you. Jerry from Ohio

Welcome to the Case DB forum. You are new here and haven't made enough posts to be allowed to post pics yet. The threshold is 5, I believe. You can also go down to Site Comments and ask Kim or Chris, the moderators, for permission to post pics.

David,

Welcome to the Case Forum. I hope you'll find this to be a friendly, informative place. There are many people willing to share their knowledge with you here. Don

From looking at your steering, I think it is at least a couple years newer than a 42. Other details indicate as well. Looks great though, and nothing beats the family history it has.
