Case IT verses Case service manual

I have the IT manual. Does the higher priced service manual offer any advantages or extra detail? As I begin my end to end repair on mine I definitely want the best info I can get.

YES buy the OEM one the IT can get you by on many things if you want the correct info pay the price,, I have only oem stuff here for more than just Case stuff,, I have given up to 600 for one SM was worth it every time to me
cnt

Oh my yes get the Case manual. I am slowly rebuilding a 970 power shift at the moment, and the IT manual I have don't even scratch the surface. Couldn't do it with out the Case manual (and especially the good help from here!). I bought a reprint of the 2000 page Case manual for a hundred and a half I think from an e-bay site. Likely being a copy of a copy, some of the pictures aren't the best, I kind of wish I would have got the genuine JI Case one now. It works, though. They genuine ones are available on the CNH website. Be sitting down when you price it, though.

Did you get those fuel leaks fixed??

CASE Service Manuals are the best, by far, hands down, no question. I taught myself how to do quality valve jobs simply by reading the CASE Service manual, which laid it all out. Lots of pictures, & step by step, simple down to Earth explanation.

I appreciate the replies. I assumed they would be. But thought I would ask. I see various places from $100 and up.
I'll keep the 600 pages in mind comparing differences. Guess I have something else to order this weekend.

Thanks for the offers. But I ordered the manual from this site. The store does have many 1175 parts. But I cinder this the best forum on line for Case/David Brown. And will make my contribution when they do have what I need.
