Roaddevil 49 and others SC hand crank storage

Dane, here are the pics that I promised showing you where the hand crank was stored on SC tractors. First pic is the seat support channel and if you look from rear you see the first hole with no paint. That is where the latch in pic 2 is fastened with a bolt and a fingered coil spring to lock the crank into. Notice the loop for end of crank further down on seat suspension. the 3rd pic is of my late model SC with eagle hitch and rubber torsion spring seat suspension. This one seams to be messed up as the crank binds on the torsion adjusting nut. Perhaps the bolt and hand nut that adjusts the rubber spring should be threaded through the other way so the hand nut is on the RH side of the seat frame like my 830. so the crank doesn't bind, and tilt down.

Thanks Loren, that clip is missing, the seat has been mounted solid to the homemade top link mount. When I can master posting photos I 'll do so.
Picked up 1/3 of a trailer in Gloversville and 8 skids in Rochester, delivered today and reloaded for Virgina, leaving tomorrow.

Neighbor had a SC I run for him some and I was thinking the crank was stored up along the side of the radiator. Might of been dads CC, I was young and I do remember grabbing the crank to clean out the disk and left the crank laying on the disk. Neighbor found it two days later when planting.
