960 stuck engine

I found a late model 960 combine that has been sitting outside the last 5 years and the engine has stuck. I am sure rain water down the curved exhaust seized the engine. Is there a good way or anyway to unstick the engine. Slant 6 engine. I would like to save the machine but I need to get it running to move it. TIA

Have you removed the oil drain plug to see how much water is in it? It could have internal damage from freezing. A mixture of 50% automatic transmission fluid and 50% acetone poured in the cylinders might help free it up. It may take several weeks to see results.

5 years... it will need a tear down , just the facts of rain in cyl's. seen many an engine like this.
you could try and look into the plug holes to check for rust, but once there stuck its tear down time. water sitting on top a piston for years... it aint going to run with miracle oil's. even pulling the head is a heck of a lot faster then waiting for weeks or months on a miracle to happen. this way you know exactly what your up against.
should not need it running just to move it. u can use jacks on the pickup to lift it... then drag it with a tractor.

Pull a plug at a time and check that is does not have water in each cylinder. If it does in fact have water in the cylinders good chance you will have to open it up. If you find the cylinder to be dry then fill them with ATF and let it sit a week or so. Then pull the plugs back out and use the start with short fast taps on the starter button to see if it will free up. That is how I have freed up more then 30 tractor engines but if it has water in any of the cylinder you are very likely to have to at the very least pull the head off. Also after putting the plugs back in from fill pour as much ATF down the exhaust as you can so as to get it to the exhaust valve so they can free up

But you better look inside the machine, and see if the steel is rusted through, including the walkers, grain pan, and flighting tubes and elevator chains.
