Float valve for loader?

My 1961 Case W3 (530), I was told by a friend it may have a float valve position for the loader, it will like float up and down on hilly terrain such as plowing snow. My loader up and down lever is on my right and to left of bucket control lever. I believe when you push up on lever the loader goes down. So so these machines have a floating position and how do I figure that out? Thank you in advance.

To go into float push the lever past the lower position, if the detent is no suck/rusted it will lock in this position until you pull back on the lever the "N"

Yes I've noticed it will last ck in the positive you describe. I was not sure if that was a float position or what. Thank you. I'll try it out tomorrow!
