Chuck , good morning . I hope you remember me . I have a 1948 D . I have a place west of Woodstock ,Va.
when I first got my case Tractor- about 7 years ago - you ,,and every one on this site ,,, were very receptive to helping me . I have been restoring my Tractor . And would like to get some paint . ,,and 2front tires .... What is the best way to do that ?

We are glad to hear from you again, Sounds as if the work on your D has progressed well. Saeliequipment.com is a great resource for the paint. If you have any questions after you visit his website, just give him a ring.315-585-9826 The CFO, Chris Saeli, may answer when you call ,and she can take care of your parts order. As far as the front tires go, they are 7.50-16. I suggest your local Ag dealer can get you where you need to be You know when you take those front tires off ,they will be far from light. You might want to get a install quote. If memory serves me right, one front wheel is 150 pounds. Pastor John can attest to their true weight! At this point, I must invoke Case rule #117. When a Forum member assists in advice to newcomers, Pics of said tractor must be posted on the Forum within 30 days. HEE HEE. Good to hear from you, and looking fwd to corresponding further. CM
 
Chuck; you could go over and take those wheels off for him. Afterall your almost next door neighbors. haha. Gonna find out about the tractor ride this Friday. No clue. Did you get any takers on a day ride in your area?? later gobble.
 
Hey Tom, It's killing me,trying to guess where they will have it this year. Winterset? Good to hear from you! I did not get any takers. I am going to try another approach. They have tractor rides here in Virginia ,but bless their hearts , They only ride for about an hour,and then it time to put on the feed bag. I'll give you a call Friday afternoon. CM
