One Handy Little Guy To Have Around the House

I don't think I have shown this particular picture of my 6018 Ingersoll. I would have liked to have had a "648" but I just like the shape of this one (350hrs.) And enjoy the power steering. It fits nice in my car garage, and with my "448" blower tractor, I have a pretty good team for the snow.
At the farm I have all kinds of power to get things done.

And it sure saves on my back!

Dan you lucking guy, that sure looks like a nice machine. I did not realize Ingersoll continued building those models. Rod.

Your 6018 sure looks nicer than my 648 Dan. The power steering is nice for loader work.
This pic shows the factory pallet fork attachment but I have the bucket also.

Brad, I have totally forgotten that the "648" had the power steering option, and I'm think the last "448"s had the power steering option.
I like your "648" Brad. And I have been looking for a fork lift, but thinking now of something I can fabricate to leave bucket on.

Wow, That's a very nice little tractor. I like the weight rack too!!
I didnt think about it having power steering. Thanks for posting, Nick

Don you have a good eye. It's a Case PTO drive power binder in need of a little TLC.
It's in transport position in this photo but I have all the parts
to convert it to field position. I'd have to learn how to go
counter-clockwise around the field though.

I have never seen the forks before. I have always wanted a 648. Looks like you have a real nice one. Thanks for posting, Nick

Brad,

If you need canvasses there is a very good, and reasonable Amish shop near Wautoma, WI that makes custom binder canvasses. I needed all 3 for the JD PTO binder and they had them in a few days. Don

Thanks Don. Good to know. How about the wind screen on the back?
I have 3 originals here in rough shape. A John Deere and two McCormicks I think.
I'd like to find a Case to trade but most likely will have to have one made.
They appear to have used very light material.
One of them is patched with a flour sack which seems heavier than the original material.

Brad,

Having never seen a real Case binder I can't tell you what the original is made of. My JD PTO binder has a wood frame with very light gauge metal for the windscreen. If it was any thinner it would be invisible. LOL Our old McCormick binders were canvas. Don

Dan, didn't mean to hi-jack your post and change the subject. Back on topic, I searched for a picture I'd seen once in a sales brochures of the fork attachment and was surprised at what I saw in the background. Looks to be a dualed up garden tractor with a forklift mounted on the rear.

Brad no worries here, enjoyed seeing your binder too! HeHe.
Thanks for your posts!

Sorry Brad, I also forgot to comment on that forklift that is mounted on a "600" series, and yes even duals. Amazing picture, and will have to do some research on who made this kit for the "600"s. Wonder if anyone on here has one
