Forum,
Checked out a Case Load King 500 this past week. Was given a chance to go through a service manual and operators manual which gave me an idea of what I felt were critical items to look for. Things I thought were important were it is a four cylinder diesel. It had good transmission pressure at 90 pounds. Engine oil pressure was 50 pounds at idle. Bucket, shuttle forward and reverse worked and gauges seemed in sync. Only problem was the power steering assist was not functioning. Current owner had replaced the main pump but I think the problem lies in the hydraulic ram between the steering wheel and rear small tires. Are there any items I missed? Any and all advice is welcome.
