ust replaced powershift and transmission on the970.. have a gew issues now . three point would not raise . changed thevalve and worked in the shop.. now works intermittenly .. major problem is presure. havent pug a gauge on yet but. gauge on dash is just below the green at idle . rev rpms upand will go into green and remote valves work . also if in reverse or 3.. have good pressure. 1 and 2 it drops. step one inching pedel and can hear motor labor just a second like it should.. and pressure come right up.... i am really hopeing problem is in the power shift valve ... anyone have any thoughts as whats going on with it . did have the power shift out and apart couple bellville washers were bad but otherwise all was good . thanks in advance for any ideas

From the info you have given would lead me to think there is a leak in C-1. I have not seen a leak in the control valve yet that would cause that to happen, but maybe someone else has. If you have the Fac. Ser. Man. it does show how to make a isolation tool you could use to determine if the leak is in the valve or down below in the PS itself. Rod.

Thank you for the reply Rod.... was gonna switch out ps valves this morning with one i know is good . was short gaskets . and being sunday.... took a look at pilot valves . didnt seem to be stuck. but for some reason someone had cobbled up a plug on one . used a hydraulic fitting with a cap wgich made the spring recess in the fitting put the proper plug on and everything seems good as gold .. really didnt want to split it again .even got a load of corn picked . been a good day . thanks again..
