Been progressing on the 830 project. Got the front grill guard assy. fitted back on tractor and making final mtg brackets to attach it to the cultivator frame in the grill.
Also cut some cardboard so I can get a handle on fabing up the front fender under the nose of the tractor. More to come.

Great Work Bro,, as you know I have always hated the look of fenders on the front even though I Love the way they work yours are much easier to look at, and I see Jason who I was telling you about finding your 930 here has made a post asking about the Cozy cab

I'm sorry if I'm out of line but I just got to ask, you have your own medal hand brake in your shop? Looks like you have great understanding about calculating your bend radius and the minimum bend radius of metal. You do exceptional work.
Thanks for sharing it

No high tech tools here. To form the radiuses on the square tubing, I just start cutting notches with the chop saw until I have a 90d arc, and then weld all the notches shut.

It won't be going to the sugar bush, but I built a new firewood trailer earlier this winter to hook behind it to bring my firewood home.

Looks good ACG. Here is one we made from old stall partitions and weld ells for my son's 800.

Very nice looking grill guard.
Do you have room enough to remove the screens?? I have to get the pan for the oil bath air cleaner out and back in when filled with new oil, thus the reason for only a single centered uprite. It is pretty tight on mine for side braces. I considered bracing back on sides to the cultivator frame, but would have had to make the brace hinged or removable to facilitate screen removal. I may still fab a hinged brace, but will have to remove the two 5/8" bolts to remove screens on each side.
