conner 9988 others on vac diesel

I am by no means an expert on this but the continental diesel engine that was an option for the 300 series might bolt in on a VAC. I believe Casenutty had a post awhile ago about someone who fit a yanmar or kubota diesel into a VAC.

I would imagine if you can get an adapter plate made bolting up a kubota V series and making it work wouldn't be that difficult. Would be neat to lookover the work of someone who tried it.

The Continental diesel engines mounted in Case tractors had an adapter plate between the engine and bell housing and a mounting plate on the front to secure it. Motors had totally different bolt mtg patterns.

I have a 201 gas in my vac and seeing how it's the same bolt pattern as the 188 diesel then the diesel could have just as easily been put in the vac
