quicke loader on international 674

first post ,im hoping someone out there can assist, I know very little about hydraulics and have just fit a quicke loader onto my 674 international , I have plugged it ( just 1 hydraulic pipe)into a large hydyraulic outlet on the back of the tractor (center) but it doesn't seem to be doing anything , there was a leak on the pipe which ive fixed so I know oil is going through but it isn't lifting the loader, the only lever in the cab seems to operate the cutting deck which is still working ..could it be an air lock , the loader hasn't been used for a few years apparently ..

You have to plug in two lines for a loader. does it have a separate valve or are you using the tractor remote to run it? To lift and dump it takes 4lines. If you have separate valve for loader you will have to hold remote valve open.

thanks fred, ive only got 1 hydraulic pipe from the loader , the main pipe runs central then branches off to both rams , I might have to get hold of someone local to Halifax to come n have a look , im guessing I might need a stand alone unit to operate the loader..thanks for response
