Case 1370 brakes/diff?

I have watched this site for a while and this is my first post. I grew up farming in Western Nebraska and we were always Allis Chalmers people. Our 7080 blew up one year and we rented a tan 1370 as our heavy field tractor. It pulled a 30' disk great and I loved the powershift but every so often it felt like the right brake was seizing up and it would pull the tractor to the right like you hit the turning brake. I would sit there at idle for about 15 min and then it would let loose and I would continue on. It wasn't such a big deal when disking, but cultivating was a horror show; gravity irrigation so there was a lot of shovel work. I've been in the Marines since 1998 and I am am going to do some small scale (40- acres) when I retire and this Case issue has always bugged me. Any opinions on why this was happening are appreciated.

The first place I would look would be the pedal linkage. The pedal stop could be adjusted wrong or the linkage to the brake spool could be off, or the plastic socket that holds the rod in the spool is broken.

That brake problem is very uncommon in the 12,13+1570 tractors because of their wet brake design. It was more common in the 7,8,9,1070 tractors that used dry
brakes, they would get hot much easier. About the only things that would cause that are brake linkage adjustment like ACG mentioned or stuck boost spools in the
brake valve itself or self adjusters in the brakes not having proper clearance. Rod.
