4WD Case DC

My grandson is here today coaching me on computer technique. To start we scanned a photo of this compound DC tractor taken at the Winamac,Indiana show when Case was recently featured. I don't know the owner, but the restoration is well done, with 4 new tires. As a kid, I remember articles in farm magazines showing different farmers building up tractors like this. I would say that this is the forerunner of the IH 2+2 design. This is my first picture post-I'll do more if I can remember how we did it.

What really looks nice is the CASE weight on the front.
Do you have a picture of the mechanicals in the hinged area?

Nice picture!! I have always wanted to put 2 DC's together like that. The rear one would have eagle hitch. Nick

Lots of farmers did that. I think the local club around here has two 500s hooked up and a JD R/IH WD9 hooked up. My great uncle farmed with a pair of WD9s doubled up.
