Case 430 gas tach (electric)

My Case 430 gas has a GM 1-wire alternator and no tach at the moment. Does anyone make a tach with an electric take-off that matches the Case gauge?

At this time I would be happy with any gauge that works.

I suppose if you wanted to spend the money (~$140) you could put an Autometer 2888 tach, it comes with a pickup you put on the alternator.

I'm hoping to find something that tops out at 3-4,000 rpm not 5-7,000 rpm. I have looked online, but haven't found anything low rpm suitable with a coil tap.

The 190 allis and MF 165 tractors had A mechanical tach drive on them. They used the older alternator that required a regulator. However there is a guy that goes by HOWARD ENTERPRISES or some such name that sets up a 1 wire alternator with a mechanical tach drive from I think Wyoming.I will post his contact info when I find it. You might try posting on googel I think that's how I found him.

I'm not looking to go mechanical, why bother on a gas tractor. I just don't want to go digital which is all I'm finding or top rpm' of 6,000+

Faria makes a 4000 rpm tach that runs off the alt. I think the part no is TD 9732. Their web site quotes a price of 74.00 dollars . Just google Faria and it will come up.
