How much power will that transmission handle? There is a 830 with the engine out of a 870 with a turbo on it someone has changed the engine. Will it the trans hold up under the 336 turbo? I do know you can get a lot of power out of the 336!

That depends on what you mean. For tractor pulling that rear will hold a lot of hp. If your going to crank that engine to 150 hp and hook 6-18's on it and plow all day I doubt it will last. Set at 90 or 100 hp and used for light loads I think it would be fine.

HI how's it going? Did you see this 830 with a 336 for sale in Indiana, around March of 2016. Thanks Roger. I picked the tractor up. Trying to find some out some information about tractor. Have it split apart now fixing things. Had a cracked convertor housing.
