430 Input Shaft Oil Seals

I"ve got a 430 (not sure of year, SN plate is missing) that got oil in the clutch. Pretty sure it came out of the transmission as the engine rear main seal is OK. I see that there are two coaxial shafts for the transmission input and hydraulic pump drive, how are the seals arranged? Do I have to disassemble the hydraulic drive setup to replace the seal on the inner shaft?

I"ve been looking at the parts diagrams on the CIH website but it"s not clear how the input shafts are actually assembled from the parts pics. I don"t want to take the whole thing apart if I don"t have to.

Any advice?

Thanks and happy New Year!

I can help you with If you have the early 430 like the pic.

Thanks Joe. I have the newer design with the shaft style throwout engagement. After studying the images on the Case parts site, I think I see what's going on and it looks like I can replace the input seals and bearings just by removing the input housing on the front of the torque tube (and I do not have to take the setup apart).
