I am just wondering if it would be worth it to advertise for sale the cab I just took off a 1170. Any thoughts ? Door is good as is all glass.

Of course, You just never know what some other old iron man is needing/wanting. For me its always been the odd ball stuff I had the hardest time finding because people did not think it was worth advertising. jmo gobble

we get 800-1000 for a factory cab here if all glass is good,,, good doors are hard to find and bring 250 or more if you can find them BUT I am not in the rust belt either so certain things bring more coin
cnt

I sure wouldn't sell the door until you've figured out if anyone wants the whole deal or not. You'd end up with a true valueless unit. I'd love to buy a cab, disassemble it, go thru right, and then swap the one on my 1070. There's so much going on a guy just can't dedicate time to a single project, like a cab restore, and get it done in a reasonable amt of time. The tractor is needed around here and can't take a year off. I can't find one here in west central MN. I've a neighbor with a 1070 with an aftermarket cab that would LOVE to find a Case cab for his tractor too. Just advertise it for a bit and see

I have most of the square glass out of a 1070 in Eastern SD. If you have a way to pick it up it will not cost much. Cab was all rusted out and went to scrap.
