Progress on 831C ROPS

Haven't spent much time in the shop lately until today.
Had to fab up a lifting gig that bolted to my cherry picker to mount the Rops structure onto the tractor. Made that up and test fitted the two post strut to the tractor. I need to relieve the notches in the channel iron bases a bit so they slide down over the axle housings and clamp tight with 8 3/4x8" bolts and bottom clamp brackets. I made the clearance tight, figuring that I could releive them to make a perfect fit.
I will have about 11" of head clearance when seated on the tractor. Currently in the pic., the fenders are just setting against the tires. The fenders and canopy will all be bolted to the ROPS struts and they will become one consolidated unit.like a 70 series cab. I will stash the lifting gig away incase the structure needs to be removed in the future.

Great work as usual. Would it be possible to see what the attachment to the axle looks like ? Also, what grade of tubing did you use ?
Many Thanks

Sorry, I looked at the pictures again and see the part that attaches to the axle. What thickness is the metal there ?
Great Work !
Many Thanks

I have a didgital level that measures down to 10ths of degrees. Measured the angle of the rear lower part of fenders before I unbolted them, and cut the base angle. Used the inverse of 90* and divided by 2 to cut the mateing angles at the knee joint. Top of strutts set perfectly vertical to fender tops.
Made all my cuts with a 14" chopsaw, and 4.5" angle grinder. I torch cut the base plates.
