Case Load King 500

Forum,
Usually go to the N tractor and Allis site but have a question about the Case Load King 500. I am looking at a Case Load King 500 and wanted to know how useful and reliable they are? It has a 3 cylinder diesel engine and recently had the power steering assist pump replaced. Have not seen it up close Any and all thoughts are welcome.

Case Nutty,
Checked out the Case Load King 500 earlier this week. It is a four cylinder Case diesel that runs quite well, oil pressure is at about 50 pounds at an idle. The transmission pressure is running at about 90 pounds. Bucket works fine, forward and reverse are working. Expected to see a tach but has a speedometer in the dash. It has a 200,000 serial number and by reading through the manuals it was made into the 800,000's. Not sure of manufacture date. Only problem is the power steering assist does not function. Pump has been replaced and I am guessing the problem is in the actual hydraulic arm attached to the steering wheel and ram below, not sure about that. Have checked with a hydraulic mechanic and he said he may have the cure and a replacement lower assembly. Appreciate the reply and any advice is welcome.
