Danuser Blade

This fall i was able to find a Danuser Blade. It was
advertised as a Case Danuser but upon inspection I
found it was a Danuser blade made for Dearborn
farm equipment. The blade had seen some use but
was complete. i'd been looking for one for a while
with out much luck so i bought it. It's an 8 footer
which should go behind my 310b nice. i'm looking
for suggestions on how to remedy an issue with the
handle.
The pin that the handle sits on ias well as the hole
in the handle are worn. So much that it allows the
handle to move around freely putting it out of reach.
I'm thinking of drilling out the hole in the handle to 1
1/18" and putting a busihing in that fits over the pin
in order to take out the slop. My question is how
tight is it supposed to fit in order for it to function as
intended.
Before i picked it up it had already fallen victim to a
less than desirable paint job.

My 6' Blade appears to have about 1/8" play in handle, but it is used like most are, not sure what original gap would be. Loren, Tom, any ideas ?

Thank you Mike and Tom!

I'm still figuring out i if i should build the pin up with some weld and grind it down to fit or go with drilling out the hole for a bushing. i'll have to start with a reem to get the drill bit centered if i go that route.
