Throwing sawdust in the firebox to make sparks. Lotta shows do it when the steamer is on the prony brake. Good spark show!

Did anyone notice the drones up in that dark sky?
We actually run corncobs through a burr mill to make the sparks. Let me tell you when a corn cob ember comes down your back it's hot and remains hot for a looong time! This seems to be one of our favorite activities for spectators at our show. Hope some of you can see it in real life sometime.
