Re Case 480b timing injector pump

I just took my pump off to try to time it, and all the instructions I am getting says line up 2 marks on pump shaft and get number one(1) cylinder tdc, look above starter and line up 8 degrees and all is well --well my pump only has 1 line to line up unless im doing something wrong, I turned it with a large screw driver? then im told the flywheel marks are in a trap door above the starter well mine doesn't have a door or slot or anything where I can see flywheel so does anyone know whats what, the model on my valve cover says its a G188D and times at 4(four )degrees I know its a little old but it ran great and I broke the throttle and cut off shaft on throttle side had it replaced so now cant start it thanks for any help and thanks al for your advice

There is a stationary mark on the cam ring on the right side of the pump timing window, and the plate just left of the cam is the mark that moves and can be very hard to see sometimes. The flywheel mark may be on the lower side on some models instead of the top right.
