Another Case Project.

After we got and still getting snow, I started on fabing up the 2 Post ROPS for my 831C. With the help of my didital level to measure angles, I was able to calculate the angles and transfer them to my chopsaw and cut the miter joints in the 3x5 tubular steel. Got the two main struts well underway. As you know, I modified fenders off a late model 930 to bolt to the high tin 830 EH. I built the strutts to folow the angle on the rear of those fenders to their flat tops and then up 90D from tops. The canopy/roof will extend forward to a point even horizontally with the joint where the hood and fuel tank join, and fabed from 16 ga. steel. The canopy will be 48" wide at rear and 46" wide at front with rolled and tapered sides with a drip rail on the edge. Sorry for double pic. Stay tuned.
