1962 Case 930 value

I have a 1962 Case 930 Diesel,6 speed (not a CK), wide front. Barn kept. Owned and used it from 2004 to 2012 to pull disk and planter. Always needed a shot or two of ether to start. Hasn't started in a while. Injectors are probably plugged up from dirty tank. Replaced all three fuel filters, bled lines, still wont start. Noticed oil in the water (even back when it was running) so it most likely needs a valve job, new oil seals and head gaskets. Could use one back tire, and front tires are dry/cracked. Generator doesn't work. Needs work on platform where previous owner retrofitted a home made 3-point that didn't work out. Does have a PTO with new seal. Needs a clean up and paint.
I have a potental buyer but I want to be fair with the price. Any ideas based on my info above?
Thanks

This is my opinion so please take it with a grain of salt: $1000-$2000 but it really needs to be able to start and run to be on the high side of the money.

Others can be more accurate for an estimate.

I have to agree with brokengun. It is a very colectable Case traactor, but the issues you describe limit it's value. Sounds like you have tried to start it and doing so damaged the injection pump trying to do so.

I bought a newer one, Western special 3-4 years ago that hadn't run in 20 years. Near new rear radials, on a farm auction, $1000. Took about 1/2 day to det it going, but no major issues, runs great. Pic is of a similar one....

Injection pump may have the rack stuck, only takes one barrel/plunger stuck to cause it. Rack must move freely for the pump/governor assembly to work correctly. Don't beat on the rack if it's stuck, or control sleeve clamp teeth and/or rack may both be damaged.

The tractor was running when I put it in the barn. It was two years later that it wouldn't start. I don't know much about the injector pump or potential problems but I was taught early in life NOT to hit or persuade anything with a hammer except a nail. So, could I have damaged the injector pump by just trying to start the tractor?

Would be no damage trying to start it, but rack could still be stuck. Easy way to check is to remove the round cap at the front of the pump, is just above the timing case, and cap has two flats for a 19MM wrench. With it off, and throttle 1/2 open or more you should see the rack end screw with shims come out, and when the throttle lever moved to stop it should pull back in to the no fuel position. No movement at all means it's stuck, by one or more plungers unable to move freely.

Many thanks for the info. If the rack is stuck how would I free it up, disassembly?...is that info in the IT manual?
