it was a boom put on buy the factory or branch house to lift equipment. I will try to post a better pic

I can see that being a very handy piece to have. Wouldn't take up much room in a shop if you needed to move things around. Were there very many of these made?

I think they made around 3700 of them. I'd have to look in the book for sure. They made these with single rear wheels and then some with duals. The rear fenders weight 850 lbs a piece!
