My transmission fluid was old and I replaced it with 90 wt. but I over filled it. I have a hydraulics fill hole I use 10 wt. and a transmission fill hole next to the shifter. But I can see only one drain plug under the transmission. My book says nothing. Anyone know if there are 2 separate drain plugs for the haudraulics and transmission.

Transmission and differential share the same reservoir. The drain is just behind the drawbar mounting bracket on the left side. The drain plug at the back end of the torque tube is the one for the hydraulic reservoir. Lee

1952 VAC will have a hydraulic return oil filter if factory original. The element is cleanable, mineral spirits is good. Torque tube drain plug is just in front of the transmission about where the red arrow is in Fig E-3. Torque tube hyd oil capacity is 2 gals, fill to the lip of the fill plug opening. I use general purpose hydraulic oil.

Remember ,once you let the Genie out of the bottle, you won't get him back in. Head pressure on the drain plug is phenomenal . Just sayin

12/01/16 Thanks for the pictures. I have an old Case book doesn't show nice pictures like that. These pictures are hydraulics drain plugs. I was looking for the tranmission drain plug and finally found it. It is to the right side of the tow bar under the transmission. It is not a bolt like I was looking for, it is an inset plug that take a 1/2 drive extension square end. I use 10 wt. in my hydraulics and 90 wt. in the trans.
Thanks for the help.
