I am starting a bit sooner on my "year in review" series my year started Early this year, I was working ground the 23rd of February,, that is as early as I ever know of here,, throughout this year we have been in the area that got little moisture,, so far we have gotten less than half our "normal" of 14" H20 and that includes snow. Others have it worse than me for sure as I did get almost 1/3 of normal production on my farm,, I feel this was greatly due to me getting the spring grain in so early it was able to use all of what moisture little we got,, anyway enough of my blabbering and on with the pics
1st ones start out at the last days of Jan where I was installing the new lube pump on this 1470
next a couple of one of the few snows we had,, the 580CK out cleaning it off the lots I do, then a few of the VA at work in my yard
then the first dirt moved on the 12th of Feb,, I had to reshape a crossing to make it safer for my 87 yearold Uncle to cross the 450 took care of it with ease
after the dirt work I used the VA and G-16 blade to dress up the roads a bit
I was offered a great deal on a 74 one owner 970,,, I took the deal
then it was time to start working some hay fields with the 1470 and WC
next is the 350 getting ready to run the hyd auger to load out seed Barley
I put the new axle in the "SA" disc and worked some ground next
quick a/c charge on the 1070 and then to harrowing hay ground
I jumped form unit to unit and was working ground with the 1470 and WWC 37 for spring grain planting
that's it for today
