Case Tractor with Duncan Loader ?

Was over in Pennsylvania this weekend, and was driving down an old road, and spotted by an old garage what appears to be an SC or DC with the same type loader that Tom has on his DC. Tractor is covered with lot of overgrowth, but loader sure looks like a Duncan. Will be back in that area next Monday, and will try to get more info on it. Was wondering if CASE sold these units, or were they from another vendor.

Thanks, Mike

Thanks Tom, I figured they must have fit both SC and DC tractors, will try to get Serial Number from tractor. Where would serial number be for loader.?

not a thing wrong with these and they made a LOT of them,, if you ever used one you would know how good they are, they do have one flaw, the way they are made with all the pivots they have side to side "sway" as long as you plan for that there are no issues,, these will pickup 2500-3000 lbs to full height and no loader even the Farmhand units would lift as high as the Duncan does,, they are very close though, I have put many hrs on both loader brands in my life,, funny how a post of this always brings odd comments,, I will say it does take a "Operator" to run one these are not for the timid person lol

I was commenting to mean that the design may have had some trial and error to get to a successful product. I have spent most of my working life in factory production. I know that not all good ideas work out to be a success.

tom , I am not doubting that loader has quite abit of side sway ,, if I come out there and run the dc for you allday my 2 ft wide back side would only be 4 inches wide at the end of the day ,,. but I think it would be fun ,, howevr here in southern ind hills with the wrong operator someone and the loader will get hurt or destroyed ..

I understand completely I just mean this was a great design for the time and still works very well today,, its all good that most look at it as "non-useable" today,, and yes it does take a person who can operate to keep it on all four wheels, lol I have been going to install another set of wheels and tires and three or four wheel weights on each side as I had the CC taken out a few years back and she is too Light!
