Here's where it's at so far. A little more wear than I first thought on the undercarrage. Nothing that can't be fixed however....<a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank">

I'll be looking for a better set of idlers. These can be welded on and machined but that's plan B.....

Fred, had one years ago that I needed fronts like yours. Local small tracked salvage yard sold me ones off of a 350 if my memory is correct. looking good. Mine looked just like your picture when I brought it home. Wife thought it was a load of scrap iron. Keep up the good work.

My wife said the same thing. You gotta have vision when you tackle something like this. Some women have it....some don't. Most don't!

I'm sure that there are many different models that fit but I want to keep this as absolutly close to original as I can. I realy want to keep the 5 spoke idlers if at all possible. If I can't then I will look for other models, like the 350 that will fit. Thanks for the tip.

Fred the bottom rollers are still available through your local Case dealer. It is a after market roller, part # CAS VCA127V. They are in stock in Toronto and Seattle. The cost of the ones I picked up last month were $138.50 each plus freight. The top roller is not available anywhere, I rebuilt them at a cost of aprx. $145.00 for welding and machining. Bearings, seal and spacers were $84.00 for each roller. Total of $229.00 each for the top rollers. Good luck with the rebuild.

Thanks! And thanks for the part number for the bottom rollers. It's appreciated!

Which machine do you have? 600 or a 610?

A few more update pictures. I have located new chains and all the rollers, top and bottom. I have a repair plan for the front idlers so other than spending the cash the undercarrage issue can be resolved. I have removed all of the suport structure and will take them to town and have the heavy stuff sandblasted. I will do all the painting here. The only other issue I have is the spring pack. I am still on the hunt for the spring perches for this machine. The springs I'm sure I can have made ( along with the perches I guess) but I would sure like to find a set of original perches. And of course there are a few seals that have to be replaced on the gear box. So now the cleaning/stripping and detailing begins......
