Service Bulletins Case SC Tractors

I've dealt with Service bulletins (Parts, hardware, procedure, specification changes) on aircraft the S/B numbers are in the aircraft specific manuals and noted as well in the parts manuals. Various times I have heard folks speak of Service Bulletins on a tractor and seen some. Now my question is were would a person begin to look for any Service Bulletins that affected a particular Tractor.
Thanks in advance Byron

I've a pretty darn complete collection from 1938 thru the mid 50s, a lot of them up into the 70s, but no where near complete.
I've found mine thru Case Literature dealers, several are listed in the 2 Case magazines. Swap meets at threshing shows always
have a couple of dealers. A lot of time they don't bring them, because they are not big sellers and don't bring a lot of money.
Many times the binders are worth more than the bulletins. It's just about impossible to run across complete years or sets of
these buggers because most dealerships kept the bulletins for the eqpt they sold and serviced only. Perhaps ones dealing with
rice eqpt wouldn't be found in IA for example. Also, mechanics would pull a particular bulletin and keep it by their bench if it
pertained to something they saw a lot. I bought a lot of misc ones dealing with early powershifts dated late 69 into the very
early 70s from a former mechanic, he was the go to guy in their "store" for powershift issues and the bulletins didn't have to
reside in the tool room he felt. They had been pulled out of the binders, so if they went somewhere they'd be minus powershift
info. I've hundreds of duplicates, as I've picked up a large binders in an attempt to fill blanks in my books, and end with a ton
of spares. Ebay is place to look too, I've bought them there off and on. Being a former Diesel Ag instructor in a post high
school setting here in MN, I value these, along with parts books in my restoration and use of Case eqpt here on my farm. Foot
clutch questions on the SC/DC series are addressed, interesting pages on the final year of these tractors with the overbore p/c
sets Case installed, Alum pistons and their early issues. The vast majority of them deal with implements, but are still great
fun.

The service bulletins are organized by date of release, implement and tractors are all together. I've got most from the beginning to the 70's as a good friend worked in R&D for decades. A treasure indeed.

Thanks guys I have been looking around its such a shame they haven't kept that info together or published it. One day it will all be gone sad to say.
Thanks again Byron
