Well it's been a long summer. I finally got my 930 with the transmission problems put back together. Everything went together pretty well and seems to work OK. It drives much better with all 8 forward speeds and 2 reverses all the time! Discovered that the slop in the steering was coming from more places than I thought but not difficult to fix. The only head scratcher is the lift arms won't raise unless the engine is wide open. I need to pick up some adapters so I can start checking hydraulic pressures and figure out what's going on there. All the gaskets and seals were new so I'm guessing something is out of adjustment or not set up right. Still need to find an OEM seat.

We have the same problems with hydraulic system you have on a 930CK here in Cambodia. Traced it to the pump. We had it rebuilt locally but it still wasn't right. It is so hot here
we just put in 85W140 oil and it works fine. Those pumps are hard to get fixed a s Cessna won't sell parts, John Saeli has a new pump but they are not cheap. LOL!

Comboted,

Thanks for the suggestion on the pump. I know mine is good and don't want buy a new one. $$$$ The pump worked on the tractor before I split it to fix the transmission. This tractor had the high/low range gears fail and destroyed the transmission case as well. The remote valve and 3 point were from the donor since the originals were contaminated with iron fillings. I pressure tested the remotes tonight and had 2000 psi. I suspect I either damaged the nylon oring between the rockshaft housing and the remote valve body when I assembled it or my other thought is that the poppet valve to lift the 3 point in the draftomatic valve is plugged.
