Spent the day getting the last things done so I can combine corn with my 1160. Still need the filler that goes above the feederhouse. Case sure blew it there, why make the corn head feeder different from the grain head. Sure makes for a pain to change heads. Some things are so far ahead of the other brands and some behind. I supose that is always the way tho.

Welded on a weight bracket for some weights so it don't tip over no more. Also got the snoot I drove over when it tipped down last time fixed up pretty good. Went to my local salvage yard and found 2 gears that I needed to change the cylinder speed. They have a large shed full of new parts they got at dealer auctions when they were going out of business and from the garbage from distribution centers. The thing is full 2 floors of shelves with all new parts. Found 2 case gears for the cylinder speed. I now only need one to have the full set.

If it don't rain and I have time I'll try it out tomorrow.

I'm running a 21 and 30 which should be about 600 rpms. Could use the 33 and 37 tooth. I have 21, 24, 26, and 30 tooth now.

I hope all goes well and you get to try it out Jon. Looks like we will be locked into fog again today here in the SW. Is that a 40 in corn head? Rod.
