So I found an alternator in my shop the other day and took it to town to have it checked and it checked good. So I guess later today I'll install it on the 1949 VAC I got a month of so ago since the generator on it doesn't even have any wires on it so been running it on a 12 volt battery with out a charging system . Not sure yet what I'll have to do as far as brackets etc guess I'll find out once I have it done.

Any ideas as to do it that may help??
Thanks

Here are the photos. I extended the adjustment arm with a piece of angle and bolted a pieceof angle on the block for the lower mount.
Has worked for years.
