Recently attempted to install new exhaust manifold onto my 1953 DC3, got new manifold and ferrules and gaskets, one of the studs that come outa the head pulled all threads off brass nut side, will need new stud, do I have to make one or are these available, also the two studs that thread into manifold and hold air intake box on, one is missing, long one, and other is seized in old manifold, are these avaible or another thing I need to make if so what's the proper thread and length , any help would be great I'm stuck at this point, thanks a lot
Dusty

The studs in the head are course thread on one end and fine thread on the other, Fastenal may have them, Case IH cost would be insane. The other studs I might have in my parts stash, just junked a warped manifold. Don

Studs like this are readily available thru Dorman, a line of fittings, bolts etc carried by NAPA and possibly other hard parts
stores............

please let me know I'd buy whatever you got:) I'd assume there both 7/16 coarse, dunno the length, and head studs are 7/16 coarse and fine ..

Be very careful as a stud threaded to long can hit head stud and make head removal very difficult.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I could only find the long stud from the air intake box to the oil bath canister. Send me an email with your address and I'll send it to you. Don
