VAC with loader and hitch hydraulic question

So I have a VAC with Eagle hitch and a salvaged loader someone put on. Currently the engine mount pump feeds, in order, the bucket tilt dual action valve, the lift arms single action valve, then the factory hitch valve, then return to tank. All in series.

Now when I try to lift the hitch, it does lift but pressure also builds in the lift arm cylinders causing the bucket to lift. It becomes a dance of lowering the bucket while lifting the hitch.

My question is, is this normal for a spool valve to allow the back pressure into the cylinder or is the lift arm spool valve faulty? I understand from the VAC shop manual that a selector valve is generally used when adding a loader to the factory hydraulic system. Is this the only way to ensure normal operation of both the loader and hitch?

Thanks, Mike

Not sure what your saying but sounds like you have something plumbed wrong. I have a VAI I am working on on and off and getting a loader working and when I got it the hyd hook ups where a mess and would have cause a major problem if I had not looked them over good and then redid them

You need a selector valve down stream of the loader valve to route oil either to the loader control valve OR the 3pt control valve, or a Power Beyond feature in your loader valve. The way it is hooked is wrong. Back pressure is feeding back thru the loader valve everytime you try to lift something on the 3pt hitch.

Is there a way to tell if my loader valve has a power beyond feature? It is made by "Commercial Shearing" and I have tried a web search in the past and found no information on it.
