Few pics of grinding 20% moisture corn and bagging it for feed

great pics,,, I know zip about Corn,,, I am wondering how it does not mold at 20% moisture? I know my small grains here need to be a 13% or lower,, thanks just wondering,, enjoy seeing how things are done in different areas

In the bag it won't as long as its cold and being ground with the big screen we add it to our ration throughout the winter. We try to use it up before spring.
last years bag we finished more towards June and was still ok.
We put whole shell corn in a bag last fall 26% to 32% when we took 2 loads to town in the end of February both loads were 16% the bag was down hill as we went it got wetter so we ground it for feed there was water at the last 20 feet and no spoilage so it works.
We bin anything under 20% put it on air then pull a little out a each bin as we grind 12 2 1/2 ton grinders every two weeks.

No. 2 dry corn is considered dry and will keep over winter. with some air, but if you want to keep it over the summer, long term storage, it better be 13.5% moisture, or it will get moldy on the you, on the top of the bin.

Once you get the hang of it its like riding a bike the only things you move are truck and grinder bager moves itsself and the gravity wagon gets pulled by a chain its simpler then it looks even my baby sister can do it all by herself lol
