Is there a way to use the hydraulic remote with one hose instead of two hoses? I have several pieces Of equipment that is plumbed with one hose for up only and float in the down position that we use with other tractors.

yes,, when lowering the implement just move the remote lever part way, just enough to let it drop do it all the time with mine on my hydro swing

I've never had a problem with my 1070. My round baler hood is a one way, the cylinder the raises the header on my mower/conditioner has a one way, + I'm sure there are others around here. I've never given it a thought
