PTO issues

The pto on my Case 830 seems to be slipping at times in heavy grass. The information I have is vague on checking or adjusting the clutch Except for using special tool A-7942, can anyone give me a little insight or good advice about what to look for? Thanks DRF

You didn' say if you have an 830 Eagle Hitch or a CK.
Here is the procedure for a CK from the Op manual. An EH tractor has the same clutch pack, but acess to adjust it is different. The tool is the same for both.
Sorry the clutch and brake adjustment pages are out of order compuker is screwy tonight.

Thanks Adirondack case guy for the info.(like the animation!) My 830 is a 1961 model w/eagal hitch. It has a small 2bolt cover on the right side. Never adjusted one, is that tool the only way or can it be fudged? Guess I could make one but need to know what I'm doing for sure. Thank you for the instructions. DRF
