Can the '70 Series Hyd. Pump, (ie 770 870 ect.) be made to work in place of the A34214 Comfort King Pump? The mounting gaskets are the same, as well as the A32097 drive coupling. There are some differences in the intake.

When I mount the 2 speed PTO from the 70 series on the 30 series tractors I made adapters to use the 30 series pumps. The other way around would be harder to do. The 70 series uses a short pipe in there with O-rings to seal while the 30 series uses the little quad rings that squeeze in between. The pump drive will work. If you were to mount the 2 speed PTO on there the 70 series pump would fit perfectly!

I don't understand your answer. I don 't understand why you would adapt a '30 series pump to the '70 series housing??

I had a good 30 series hydraulic pump, installed the 2 speed PTO on the 30 series tractor. What would I need the steering/brake pump for on a 30 series tractor? Why spend $1400 for the dual pump when I have all the pump that I need?

I understand. My assumption was that the original pump would have been attached to the '70 series pto you used. That was wrong. BYW, new '70 series pumps are $715.00. The CK pumps are sometimes impossible to get.

Sure would make that thirty series steering nice by adding a ram out on the linkage. with that 8 Gpm pump and a steering motor. Make the system much easier to use a loader with. Tom
