Case 1030 single acting hydraulics?

Hey all I was wondering if it's possible to swap one set of
outlets to single action. I need it to have one set single acting
for my disk mover because it only has one way cylinders for
lifting. I know on my JD 720 there is a set screw that is just
run in or out for single or dual acting. It's a late 1030 with dual
outlets. Thanks in advance.

There is nothing to change on the hydraulic system to get single acting outlets. They are always double acting. What you need to do is run a hose from the outlet you are not using back to the transmission. You can put it into the tube that you use to fill the system or the better way is to take the pipe plug out on the right side of the PTO housing and hook a return hose there.

Do you mean a disk mower? I use one with a 1 way cylinder on my 830ck and don't have any problems except I wish it had float.

you can also just move the lever part way in the lower position and it will not pressure up the other hose,, I have used them both ways it works fine either way and will not hurt anything
cnt

I've an 1190 mower/conditioner, it has a oneway cyl for raising the head, I just connect to the LL outlet on my 830CK and it works just fine. The upper set swing the tongue........

there should be a plug on the differential housing on the right side take out the plug and plumb in a fitting for a hose hooked up to the outlet for single action when you push the lever for the header to go down the oil will just go back in to the transmission

So with it run in like that do you leave the lever in the lower
position so it can be kinda like float when cutting and just let it
flow fluid threw the bypass line into the rear housing. Thanks
very much for the info I figured there was a to do something
like this just couldn't find the info.
